How it works?

To start we recommend that all first time clients book in for the 3 session intro pack. This allows you to get to become familiar with the Pilates equipment and foundational exercises of the Pilates beginner system.

The intro sessions also give you the opportunity to work with Alexa on establishing options that are right for your body. Once you have completed your 3 intro sessions you have the option to join a small group class or continue with private sessions.

Small Group classes

Small group sessions typically have no more than 3-4 people in class at one time. During sessions you will typically work on a mix of apparatus including the reformer, cadillac, high mat and chairs.

Classes are sometimes guided but most follow the classical Pilates open practice format where each person works through the exercises and sequences, that are adequate for their personal level of practice. This allows each practitioner to progress at a pace that is right for the themselves and work through exercises and variations that are selected for them.

Private sessions

During a private session the entire session is tailored to your individual needs. This session format is best for individuals who are working towards a personal goal and want more hands on attention and guidance or have a physical limitation which needs personalized attention from the teacher such as an injury or recovering from surgery.

Semi Privates/ Duets

Duets are two people sessions. The next best thing to a private session. Duets are best for friends or family members who want to work out with each or share the cost of a private session.
